A quick lunch yesterday in the Sunflower on 16th St/Valencia. Great egg rolls, bbq pork and a hot, sweet tofu broth, all washed down with an extremely unusual Thai Tea (tasted like tamarind milkshake). Extra points for the extremely flamboyant waiter who took a shine to my Ponty RFC shirt - he pointed at the 'Just Rentals' sponsor logo, said 'ooh, just rental... hahahaha' and strutted off back to the kitchen, leaving us slightly perplexed, but highly amused.

A night in Noe Valley with Richard and Lucy last night. We ordered a Chicago style pizza from Patxi's Pizza and it didn't disappoint. Three thousand cubic feet of crust, sauce, sausage and cheese was consumed.

Went for a lovely hike through Muir Woods today with Simon and Lynn. Massive trees, glorious sunshine and all washed down with sandwiches and Hoegaarden in a crazy German beer house plonked right in the middle of the forest. Rosie managed to avoid getting eaten by bears/cougars/sharks and we all came back sun kissed and sleepy. Tidy (apologies for bad photos, concentrated my photo-taking powers on my 35mm, so we'll have to wait for those ones). (more…)

Our mammoth house-hunt came up trumps as we've scored a great apartment in an old cedar-clad house. Rosie is making the most of the new space (we're taking shifts on the recliner chair). (more…)
