Week one, done.

First week at my new job was a good one - the canteen alone is reason enough to work here! A real good bunch in our studio, creative times ahead...

Taft Street

A strangely appropriate wine was glugged with our dinner in Zazie last night. Taft Street Pinot Noir (sounds a bit like Taff Street, non?). It also had a picture of my Dad's new Workshop on it, which is nice. It was a rather lovely wine, you'll be glad to know.

Zazie

Food with new friends last night - muchos gracias to Simon, Lynn, Chris and Jenna for taking Rosie, Lucy, Richard and I to Zazie in Cole Valley. The food (and the company) was cracking - My hanger steak (pictured) was magical, there's nothing quite like dipping mashed potato in blood... Rosie's pork chop was excellent, a thoroughly good time was had.

Zazie — 8.8/10

Williams & Sons

Golden Delicious

Exciting things are afoot. After five years toiling away in my own little corner of Cardiff, I’ve scored a bit of a plum job as a designer for Apple. I’ll be moving to San Francisco with my lovely wife Rosie on March 8th - we will be sad to say goodbye to our friends and family of course, but the scent of adventure is in the air.
